We started our fundraising in September 2008. Mena Alves made a beautiful quilt. Our pastor (Our Lady of Good Counsel, Southampton, Pa) gave us permission to sell chances after Sunday Masses. We also sold chances at Holy Ghost Prep. With the chances, together with very generous donations, we raised $3,202.70. Fr. D’Angelico drew the winning ticket on November 30th, 2008. Diane McMullen was the lucky winner of the beautiful quilt. more »
